HAPPY EASTER!!!!

In the art&crafts subject 6th grade level students carried out a special activity,  painting and decorating easter eggs. They joined it really excited because the whole school is going to benefit from their work, specially the youngest kids in primary, who know nothing about it, thus we hope it will be a big surprise for them.

The school and 6th level have  joined this contest , that will take place in different stages during the second term. We are going to do it our best !! Learning and having fun, participating, sharing experiences with other schools and  growing  are our goals...

TREASURE ISLAND

The students of  6th level visited l´Avenç theater, in Esplugues de Llobregat. The play was a classic masterpiece: Treasure Island from Robert L. Stevenson. Of course it was adapted for our students, who enjoyed and learnt at the same time with the performance, participating in the development of the play and singing and dancing with the pirates´songs. It was an awesome day!!!!!

ITINERARI URBÀ D´ESPLUGUES DE LLOBREGAT

Aprofitant la visita a Esplugues, hem volgut aprofondir en el coneixement del centre històric de la vila, a l´oficina  d´Atenció a la ciutadania ens han orientat i hem realitzat l´itinerari que ens proposàven, ple de punts      d´interès, amb encant i flaire a història...hem caminat des del museu de Can Tinturé i la Rajoleta, passant pel Monestir de Santa Maria de Montsió, o la casa taller de     l´esculptor Xavier Corberó. Acabant amb el recorregut dels carrers de Montserrat i les seves masies, el Parc dels Torrents i el Turó de la Sagrera.

DROCKULA

SORTIDA AL TEATRE POLIORAMA

Benvolgudes famílies,

Us recordem que el proper  DIMARTS 3 DE MARÇ,  farem una sortida a Barcelona, al teatre Poliorama, amb l´objectiu d´assistir a una obra de teatre en anglès DROCKULA, com a complement del treball realitzat a l´escola dintre de l´àrea d´anglès. Els objectius d´aquesta sortida són:

• Valorar l’ús i l’aprenentatge de la llengua anglesa mitjançant una  activitat lúdica i cultural. 
• Potenciar l’ús oral de la llengua.
• Rebre un registre de la llengua anglesa diferent del que reben a l’aula habitualment.
• Gaudir de l’anglès com a llengua vehicular.

Horari:

• De 9 a 16.30 hores

Coses que cal portar:

• Esmorzar
• Dinar (per a qui no tingui pícnic)
• Samarreta de l’escola

NADAL ANGLÈS 6è

ENGLISH 5TH GRADE. Project “Unique Buildings”

This second term we did the project called “Unique buildings”. Each student chose one building in the world, searched for information and made a composition describing the monument in English. After that, students elaborated a poster with the pieces of writing and the pictures and made an exposition in front of the class. This is the result: 

Aquest segon trimestre, hem realitzat el projecte “Edificis únics”. Cada alumne va escollir un edifici del món, va buscar informació i va escriure una descripció del monument en anglès. Després, els estudiants van elaborar un pòster amb les redaccions i les fotografies, i van exposar el treball davant de la classe. Aquest és el resultat: 

SORTIDA A L'IMAX DE BARCELONA

IMAX

Last month we went to Imax, in Barcelona.

It was a very big cinema. We liked the film of the Dinosaurs Alive.

The film was in 3D. It was very funny for us.

The film was super because we learnt lots of things. It was incredible, because it was in English.

When the film finished, it restarted again, because there wasn’t image at the beginning.

The best part was the final image of the film and the views from the Maremagnum.

SORTIDA A L'IMAX (BARCELONA)

 

Benvolgudes famílies,

Us recordem que, el proper dimecres 16 d'octubre, farem una sortida a Barcelona per assistir a dues projeccions de l'IMAX:

• El cos humà (en català)
• Dinosaures (en anglès)

Ambdues projeccions estan relacionades amb els temes de medi i d'anglès treballats a classe.

Entre projecció i projecció, farem un dibuix del natural de la zona del Port Olímpic.

Horari:

De 9 a 16.30 hores

Coses que cal portar:

• Esmorzar
• Dinar (per qui no tingui pícnic)
• Carpeta i estoig

THE FROG PRINCESS

Divendres, 17 de juny, els alumnes i les alumnes de 5è ens oferiren una representació teatral en llengua anglesa. S'ho passaren pipa i ho feren d'allò més bé. Quins i quines artistes!

ROBIN HOOD

Today 26 th of May 2011, kids from 5 th and 6 th level have gone to the theatre to watch "Robin Hood" play. It has been very Junny and interesting. We have had a nice time.
